Shirininkov can't read.

Hey, want to hear something incredible? Right now, there's only one sign language Bible in the whole wide world. Wrap your head around this: over 466 million deaf folks worldwide go about their days without a Bible in their language. Now picture this scene: you're chilling in a ger in Mongolia, flies buzzing around, sunlight streaming in through the flaps in the ceiling. And there's Javzaa, our cool new Mongolian buddy, sharing God's Word, one verse at a time, with Deaf Christians like Shirininkov. It's a moment they've been waiting for, you know? Deaf Mongolians like Shirininkov are itching for the day when they can get their hands on a full sign language Bible. "Having a sign language Bible means I can truly grasp God's Word, and that's how my faith grows," says Shirininkov, flashing his signs. He's pumped for the day when he can just whip out his phone and dive into God's Word, no matter where he is, even in the middle of nowhere in his cozy ger. And guess what? We teamed up with the awesome folks at American Bible Society to share Shirininkov's story and rally the support needed to make this project a reality.
