Sovereign Grace Churches asked us to tell the story of Risen Hope Church and the amazing things they are doing to embrace unity. It's pretty cool how diverse the church has become, with folks from all sorts of backgrounds and cultures. And you know what's even cooler? It's not about unity for unity's sake. It's unity for the sake of Christ! That's true unity. When people walk in on a Sunday, they can see Christ reflected in the diverse faces of the congregation. The church's style and mission have totally been influenced by this diversity, especially in things like music and just being more aware of different perspectives. Sure, there have been bumps along the way, especially when it comes to discussing race, but Risen Hope doesn't shy away from the tough conversations. Instead, they lean into them, guided by the principles of grace and love. And hey, despite our differences, the gospel brings us together, reminding us that we're all in this journey of life and faith together.
